Morning kids. Today we must raise a toast to our fallen comrade, Thom, who for reasons outside of his control has to spend the day music-less at work. Hell on Earth, friends.

Today”™s playlist is amazing! Brilliant! The best playlist we”™ve ever had! It”™s also by our boss, Alex Hedley (please don”™t fire us, sir!). All joking aside, it”™s a cracker – ta, dude.

Also, for those with the new, shiny, spangly updated Spotify, feel free to add me – I”™m currently sharing every single Spotisfaction playlist, tagged with the person who submitted it and in date order. Go me!

Wordy stuff

Belated greetings.  I”™ve been promising the boys this for weeks so here it is.  I started trying to compile a lot of my obscure favourites that I thought not many would have heard before but was foiled because it seems Spotify hasn”™t heard of them either.  So I decided to go with just some tracks I like, regardless.

It starts off a bit psychedelic, then some indie (including The Auteurs which are my all time favs) with a heavy nod to the great Creation Records, then just some favourites in an eclectic ending.  Some highlights include Martin Carr swapping his plectrum for a razor blade on C”™Mon Kids, Johnny Marr slipping effortlessly through the gears on The Queen Is Dead, classic Suede and The Cure and Primal Scream at their drugged up best.  The rest are mainly a list of my favourite bands or albums and one song that I think is a good representation of said band or album.

Most are going back to my days (or should that be nights) at Uni where I gained a 1st in music and slightly less than that for my real degree.

Enjoy kids.
